Bhagwan Joe's Vegas Hotel Recommendations
You can find out all of what I am about to write about through Google. Of course, this is my slant on Sin City.
There are several top notch hotels in Vega$. You have to place Venetian, Bellagio and Caesar's at the top.
Of course, I've never stayed at either but all the rooms in these hotels are suites. Of the ones I have stayed at, I'd have
to say that Mirage and Monte Carlo are the best. By best I mean, quality of the rooms themselves as well as
service, décor and available restaurants, shopping, attractions, etc.
Oh, and Monte Carlo has the best soap. Yes I know, it's petty. But it's great. They even sell it at the gift shop,
even though they're tiny.
Just below these two on the list would have to be Luxor and the Westin. Luxor has the Egyptian theme
with the Sphinx and Giza pyramid (never knew it was black) going for it. It also does not have elevators. They're called
Inclinators, because they rise at an angle, which is a funky feeling. The Westin has a lot of make up for, as it is
not on the Strip, although not too far away. It's best feature is it's bed, the Heavenly bed. And you'll laugh at the fact
that so much fuss is made over a bed...until you sleep in it. Part of it is the 600 count sheets, pillow cases, comforters,
etc. Part of it is the pillowtop, which lies between the mattress and your sheets. But a word of caution for those of you
hoping to finish up some work or a movie you've been meaning to watch. You WILL fall asleep before you know it.
Treasure Island and Excalibur are good hotels. Not great. But good. They're on the Strip, which is a big
plus. They're older, which is not.

There's a reason it's called gambling
General rule of thumb: If the waitresses are young and cute...do NOT gamble there. If the waitresses look older than your
grandmother and would probably trip over any nipple rings they wore, get comfortable. Keep in mind that the casinos have
ringers working the casino. Craps and roulette are where you make the real money.
Speaking of roulette, here's a way to have a lot of fun for a long time and not lose more than one dollar. You will need
more than that to begin. Find a table with a low minimum, say, $5.00. Bet $5.00 on red or black (for purposes of this example,
we'll pick red). Play red, taking all but your original $5.00 off the table, until you lose. It's best to keep track of
the number of winning hands. Once you lose, switch colors to black, adding $1.00 to the bet. Therefore, the second bet will
be $6.00. Repeat the strategy until you lose. Then switch colors again. In other words, the next bet will be $7.00 red,
followed by $8.00 black, $9.00 red, $10.00 black, and so on. Do this until you get bored. When you're done, you'll walk
away with a net of $1.00.
